Founded in 2019 by Tyler Scott & Susie Foley, we are excited to bring you Legacy Land. We are a privately held land investment company that specializes in finding residential, agricultural, commercial, and vacant land. We own the land, there is no middleman, bank, attorney or real estate broker involved to add to the cost.
Legacy Land offers you valued land in today’s market with affordable prices, making it easy for you to buy property with cash or an owner financing option. Investing in land now will leave you a legacy today, tomorrow and generations to follow.
Tyler Scott was born and raised in Steamboat Springs, CO. Growing up, he always had interest to be in the great outdoors and explore the lands he grew up on. Now, he continues this interest and wants to give you the opportunity to invest in land that your family and friends can explore on. With a degree in Finance and Economics from Fort Lewis College, Tyler spends extensive amounts of time researching land around the United States – focusing mainly in: Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Tyler finds the best land at the best price that he can offer to our clients. In his free time he loves to golf, mountain bike, hike, ski and spend time with friends and family. Ask him about his trips to Costa Rica or Canada, he has some great stories. “The best investment on earth, is earth.” – Louis Glickman
Growing up in Indiana, Susie learned the importance of honesty, determination and drive at a young age. After attending Indiana University and graduating with an education degree, she was all set to begin a teaching career and then the travel bug struck and derailed all her future plans. Instead of going into teaching, she moved to Colorado and became a tour guide. Camping and hiking in national parks across the country was her passion for years. Susie led trips throughout North America and then traveled overseas to Ecuador, Nepal, New Zealand, Argentina, Thailand, and Europe. Ask her about sea kayaking near Alaskan glaciers or hiking in mountains of Nepal. When she talked about settling down in one place, her college roommate convinced her to come back to Denver and work at a mortgage company. Susie has been a closer, a loan officer, and an underwriter-learning different aspects of the mortgage industry. In 2005, she also acquired her Colorado real estate license. Then in 2008, Susie moved to Steamboat Springs, CO, and that is where she met her husband and had her son. Today, she has an active life and enjoys traveling with her family, skiing, yoga and gardening.
